He is the "gun god" in English newspapers, with a low-key fighting style that has been studied for years by American snipers who are eager to surpass him. He is also the key target for the enemy's top-down attack, and capturing him can bring great rewards.

But in the Chinese army, this "gun god" is just one of many ordinary soldiers. His comrades care more about when he will smile than his shooting skills; his commanding officer assigns him tasks beyond killing enemies; and he himself ignores personal revenge and safety to fulfill orders from above.
